Restoration of the 1976 4dr Plymouth Valiant with air for sale
06-30-2011-The 1976 Plymouth Valiant was brought (towed)out from woods to get it ready for resale. In 1999 the vehicle was ready to go after repairs, but the owner didn't want to pay for the bill because he got another car without telling me. Since than all has been resolved with the owner and now the car belongs to me. It really needs to be washed and cleaned out from the years it has been sitting in my back yard, so soon this will be happening. Last know repairs-The entire braking system was repaired with new brakes and drums, new master cylinder. Also it has new suspension parts. It has already been to the alignment shop. The cooling system was repaired along with some new lights in the dash. I'll add more later when I dig out the invoices. After I repair my big shop compressor-The car will be getting an over all paint job in the future. There are rusty places and a dent in the left front fender that need repairing. The car is worth $6000 in number 1 condition. I plan on bringing it up to #3 to #2 condition since so many new parts were added before
07-11-11-Process title and pick up new tags for plymouth 07-14-11 wash, clean and install a battery. 07-20-11- Remove spark plugs and squirt oil in each cylinder, start engine until engine oil light is out, which it did. 07-21-2011-I added gas 07-27-2011-BXXstart vehicle and fix tires 08-22-2011-B*raise vehicle on jack stands to check brakes and fuel deliver issue 09-12-2011-B*-remove all but one bumper stickers and decals from bumper, glass and body of vehicle. 09-13-2011-ABC*^find and repair fuel blockage. Removed entire steel fuel line, flex it and than clean out with carb cleaner, follow by blowing out line. The steel line was installed back in vehicle except for rubber hoses that will be installed. 09-15-2011-B*-Install all new rubber fuel line hoses. ~~ repair fuel inlet on gas tank sending unit. 12-07-2011-B*-removed old fuel pump and go to the part store again to get the correct one. 12-19-2011-C*-Install new Fuel pump and get the vehicle running again 12-21-2011-Bought a valve cover gasket. 12-22-2011-AB*-Install wheels and lower vehicle. Drive vehicle into shop to continue work. Replaced both alternator belts. Picked up repaired tire. 1-03-2012-A*-removed engine valve cover & old gasket ~~adjust valves , media blast valve cover and paint.
