08-04-2009~~B-Check transmission fluid, then Pull off engine compartment lid from interior to check oil pressure sensor 08-05-2009AB*Removed engine cover lid.check oil pressure-55lbs & sensor-Problem is wire or gauge.transmission fliud-Too much added-foaming-needs oil have some fluid removed 08-06-2009-photo update 08-08-2009 AB*-Checked the radiator to see if I find transmission oil in water-I found the problem. The transmission resivour that is built in the radiator has rotted through the cooling system of the radiator. I removed with a special tool through the dipstick housing the extra oil that is in the vehicle and test drove the vehicle. It works much better, but still is sluggish. I than drained the transmission oil from the transmission. The torque converter did not have a drain plug, so after removing starter and the cover plate for transmission one was created to drain all the nasty oil out of it. I did take some new pictures I will keep you up to date here as I move forward. The cost of the orginal temperture gauge cost $95.00 deduct 15% discount (platinum member). I also removed the instrument cluster on the dash to inspect the wires. I needed to do this to find a power supply for installing the lights for the new gauge. Moreparts were purchase today-drain plug and the transmission filter pan gasket kit 08-12-2009-photo update.
