1969 VW Beetle-Mechanical and Battery Tray floor repair
09-10-2009-Obtain three flat tires off vehicle at Maureen place and have them repaired by inserting inner tubes so vehicle can be moved around. Some of the tires are cracked and will need to be replaced before vehicle can be driven on road. 09-11-2009-Pick up tires from tire shop and return to replace tires. 09-20-2009-Tow vehicle from house to shop. Vehicle is on HOLD until space is available. 11-20-2009-Received payment-Thank-you. 02-01-2010-Updated report page. 03-08-2010-Preparing to move vehicle into body shop 03-10-2010-Move vehicle into body shop to repair battery floor tray area and get the car road worthy again. 03-11-2010-C*-photo updated-I inspected the vehicle and found that the floor pan adjacent to the battery tray area has rusted through as well, so additional sheet metal will have to be welded or replace with new passenger side right rear floor panel . I didn't have time today to locate in storage the new battery tray replacement will do this at a later date.
